37th Annual Walk for Hunger & 5K Run at the Cleveland Zoo on Saturday June 7, 2025 for Hunger Network…We need donors, Walkers, & Runners for our team Hunger Warriors.

One can register on line at hungernetwork.org or check out my splhungerwarriors.org website for next year’s after January 1, 2025.

It is a challenge to raise the team goal of $15,000 for the 72 Hunger Programs of Hunger Network…Mary’s personal challenge is to reach our team goal by June 7, 2025. We did reach our goal this year if one adds in the 4 other registered Lutheran teams.

This week has many specials at local grocery stores especially in the cereal aisle. Keep your eyes open as you shop. Remember to look for the cookie and snack specials too.

We thank all the COG – Community of Goodness – members for their monthly donations.

It really makes a difference in reaching the foods needed by Immanuel Lutheran’s neighborhood food program.

During this past week I received an “exclusive invitation”.

IF YOU RECEIVE SUCH AN “EXCLUSIVE INVITATION” FROM ME OR ANY OTHER PERSON, DO NOT TRY TO OPEN IT!

It is a malicious device to keep re-sending with your email name and address. I received 2 Exclusive Invitations two days later which I deleted immediately.

Keep you eyes open for the underwear and sock specials for our annual drive to bless the clients at Redeemer Hunger and Crisis Center.

St. Paul Lutheran Hunger Warriors still need Food Donations throughout the summer months; so, let us all try to bring one or two food items when we are able to attend Church this summer: peanut butter, GRAPE JAM, Stew, Corned Beef, WIDE NOODLES, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, canned vegetables, CANNED SLICED PEACHES, CEREAL, oatmeal variety packs, SPAM, canned Chicken Breast, RAMEN NOODLES, snacks for children. We need the above food items by Thursday, June 20, for the Immanuel Hunger Program Delivery. Bless you for putting the needs of others as a priority.
