Blessings
Praying that your Christmas was BLESSED with many Jesus’ moments as you celebrated Jesus’ wrappings from swaddling clothes to a washing foot towel to Jesus’ burial wrappings that could not keep Him from His salvation of the world mission. A Savior – Christ the Lord – is Born to Save all people from eternal death.
Thank You, NewPort Tank Containers
The employees of NewPort Tank Containers on Westlake’s Crocker Road have blessed SPL Hunger Warriors with an exciting Christmas donation of food items and money to assist us in helping others. We are so grateful that their hearts were moved to help others with their wonderful donations.
Your Help is Greatly Appreciated
We pray that each of you realize how important your donations of food and paper product items, money, and time are to this ministry along with your dedicated prayers for God’s Blessing on our mission to meet needs by answering the calls to assist our many neighboring communities’ futures.
St. Paul Lutheran members and friends have mightily answered the challenge to donate the cards and address labels for our Cards For Others Ministry to use in remembering the sick, the elderly, death in a family, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays…We have used the Action Team Card to purchase over 89 selections of cards and stickers that will assist the Cards For Others Team to share Christ – Our Gift From God.
Dennis Wolf Family
The Hunger Warriors Dennis Wolf Family Meat for Immanuel Thrivent Action Team Event through December 31 needs your support in gathering stew, canned chicken breasts, SPAM, and corned beef. Hunger Warriors can also use your donations of peanut butter and grape jam/jelly along with bags of wide noodles. Corn Flakes are Immanuel’s favorite cereal.
Reverse Advent Calendar
The Reverse Advent Calendar collection of food is a wonderful activity and helps many people. We have already received 15 wonderful boxes/bags of Reverse Advent Calendar donations.
Epiphany Boxes
If you are able on Tuesday, December 30, at 9 am in the St. Paul Lutheran Cafeteria, come and spend a couple hours filling our Epiphany Boxes with presents of Jesus’ Love…Hunger Warriors/Hunger Ministry sponsors the Redeemer Epiphany Party at Redeemer Hunger and Crisis Center on Cleveland’s W. 30th on January 7, 2026, along with the Westlake – Bay Village Rotary Club.
Blessings, Everyone
Bless each of you as you get ready for a New Year – 2026 – to SERVE GOD & BLESS OTHERS!
Love in Christ, Mary & Chico
