Action Team Events

MANY Action Team events to help make a difference in hundreds of lives are still happening at Westlake’s St. Paul Lutheran Church this December. Thank you all for opening your heart and mind to Jesus and His Power with amazing results.

11th Annual Underwear & Sock Drive

The 11th Annual Redeemer Underwear and Sock Drive inventory shows that a lower number of donations has been received this year when compared to last year. Therefore, if one sees any underwear sales, consider purchasing and donating to this drive. Hunger Warriors is having two peanut butter and jam drives for Redeemer Hunger and Crisis Center, a snack drive for Our Family Home Center in East Cleveland, a snack drive for Samuel L. Felton, Jr. Valor Home in Lorain, and a collection of Shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, peanut butter, grape jelly, canned fruit, canned soups, macaroni & cheese to give to North Ridgeville Community Care Hunger Program.

Whenever you have time to donate needed items, please put on the Hunger Ministry shelves or at the Levtzow’s garage 2454 Dover Center Road (Southwest corner of Dover Center and Bassett Roads with driveway off Bassett Road).

Cleaning Out Your Cupboard?

If you are cleaning out your cup cupboard or wish to donate a new cup to our Veteran Valor Home Christmas donations which we fill with candy, please put on the Hunger shelving or bring to the Levtzow garage.

St. Paul Generosity

On Friday, December 27, please consider helping the St. Paul Generosity and Service Board members along with the Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village members in packing the Epiphany Boxes for the January 6 Epiphany Party at Redeemer Hunger and Crisis Center in the Cafeteria between 9 am and 4 pm. Park outside the Cafeteria and enter though the Cafeteria’s doors. Please let Gayle Brady know that you can help on that Friday or simply show up during that time frame. If we finish early, we will post a note on the Cafeteria’s doors.

Donate Food

St. Paul Lutheran Hunger Warriors still need Food Donations throughout the summer months; so, let us all try to bring one or two food items when we are able to attend Church this summer: peanut butter, GRAPE JAM, Stew, Corned Beef, WIDE NOODLES, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, canned vegetables, CANNED SLICED PEACHES, CEREAL, oatmeal variety packs, SPAM, canned Chicken Breast, RAMEN NOODLES, snacks for children. We need the above food items by Thursday, June 20, for the Immanuel Hunger Program Delivery. Bless you for putting the needs of others as a priority.
