Lost of Misplaced and Item?
Have you ever lost or misplaced an item? Mary has now misplaced her glasses to see near and assist with reading…Even though Mary is not near 90, she feels like the world keeps passing her and Chico by. Mary & Chico are so content to snuggle and to pray. They celebrate God-given opportunities to help others…Mary & Chico are so thankful for all the SPL Hunger Warriors and all your gifts of Time, Talents, & Treasures. You are Mary & Chico’s Thanksgiving Blessings.
Your SPL Hunger Warrior help in meeting the needs of others keeps Mary & Chico calm. Colossians 2:6-7 (NIV) states: “6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” All that we do is total Thankfulness for God’s Goodness in sending His Son Jesus to save each of us.
Annual Underwear & Sock Drive
Remember, SPL Hunger Warriors Eleventh Annual Underwear and Sock Drive to help Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center ends the first week in December. Right now, SPL Hunger Warriors are gathering hats and gloves for the Epiphany Party. There will be a special Peanut Butter and Jam Thrivent Action Team Drive event on the weekend of December 14-15 for Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center in Cleveland on W. 30th.
Donations
One can still bring in donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church at 27993 Detroit Road in Westlake or drop off at the Levtzow’s garage (Southwest corner of Dover Center & Bassett Roads – 2454 Dover Center with driveway off Bassett) to assist the Immanuel Lutheran Neighborhood Food Program pick-up next Friday, the delivery of snacks, toiletries, and Christian literature for the Madison Commons Group Home at 8001 Madison Avenue in Cleveland for 56 residents who have been homeless, and the delivery of fruits and snacks to the 35 Veterans being served at the Samuel L. Felton Jr. Valor Home Veteran in Lorain during Thanksgiving week.
