10-24-25 Update from Mary

Friday, October 17, 2025

Chico, God’s special gift to Mary and Hunger Warriors, is sleeping trustingly in my lap. Due to all the ways Mary & Hunger Warriors Serve Jesus, Chico naps often. As we gather items for our Epiphany Party, Mary realizes that she needs 6 small red stuffed Clifford the dog to put with 6 books she has received…The red stuffed Cliffords make reading the small books so much more enjoyable. SpeghettiOs and toilet paper are needed.

Remember – If any family or person wishes to assist Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center at 2970 W. 30th in Cleveland with their Wednesday 10am to noon Soup Lunches, pack Thanksgiving bags or Christmas bags at Redeemer, or help unload super heavy loads that arrive on Mondays between 1-3pm, CONTACT DIANE AT (216) 219-3325. PRAY and THANK GOD for God’s Blessings on Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center, its workers, volunteers, and clients, programs and activities, and all of you for helping.

Felton Jr. VALOR HOME donated between November 2 and November 16 for a special Thrivent Action Team Delivery to honor veterans as Hunger Warriors gather snacks, candy, cookies, chip snack bags, nuts, granola bars, cards for both holidays. A new Thrivent Action Team Drive from December 14 through December 21 named Christ – Our Gift From God reminds the members of St. Paul Lutheran that Christ is the greatest gift from God and now each member has a JOB to share this gift in thought, word, and deed, so each member is being challenged to donate the cards and address labels that people receive free in their mail for our Cards For Others Ministry to use in remembering the sick, the elderly, death in a family, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays…We will use the Action Team Card to purchase additional cards and stickers that assist the Cards For Others Team to share Christ, Our Gift From God…On December 21, we will share special greetings & Snacks with the Cards For Others Team Members.

Next Thrivent Action Team Event of Meat for Immanual will run from December 22 through December 31.
