Tenth Annual Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Epiphany Party

Today, January 5, SPL Hunger Warriors hosted the Tenth Annual Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Epiphany Party for children of low-income families. The blankets, towels, washcloths, and dental supply kits bless children in need whose family qualifies for assistance. In addition, books, stuffed animals, small and large toys, crayons, coloring/activity books, jewelry, hat, mittens/gloves, scarves, games, and puzzles. We normally created 100 shoeboxes and bags; however, this year with help from the Westlake-Bay Village Rotary Club emphasizing Service Above Self, St. Paul’s SPL Hunger Warriors have created 300 boxes & bags for the children of Redeemer’s Client families.

A Big Thank You!

As we start 2024, Mary and Chico thank all who take time to volunteer services and funds to Hunger Ministry; SPL Hunger Warriors is blessed to help over 15,000 people each month through the 24 food programs. St. Paul Lutheran Church and School is a 501 (c)(3) Lutheran Church congregation with EIN-34-6002507 from the Ohio Department of Taxation. We are grateful for the recent wonderful monetary donations from St. Paul members that we will maximize in building HOPE – Helping Other People Everywhere.

Quote of the week

Jesus gives us His dynamic message in Matthew 25:37-40 (NIV): 37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

Bless your week as you Serve God by Helping Other People Everywhere, Mary & Chico
