Continued Blessings

SPL Hunger Warriors need your prayers that God will continue blessing all our efforts to help others through providing food items and monetary gifts to our over 20 food programs…The financial checks to our Centers really help since the food programs can purchase food at great savings from the Cleveland Food Bank.

Calvary Lutheran Church

Sadly, we have learned that the beautiful Calvary Lutheran Church in East Cleveland on Euclid Avenue has closed…We are trying to locate what food program that the Calvary clients have switched to. In addition, the Trials For Hope program that feeds clients under bridges needs to get their funding papers up-to-date. We need to pray that these records can be updated in the near future.

Marys Hunger Garden

We also have great news to report. Mary’s Hunger Garden under the fantastic work of Ken Krauss and volunteers has out produced last years crops, and the clients of Redeemer Hunger and Crisis Center have enjoyed every vegetable. The donated crops disappear every day that they arrive at Redeemer. God has truly blessed this wonderful Hunger Garden.

12th Annual Underwear & Sock Drive

Donations for the 12th Annual Underwear & Sock Drive have started coming in to the containers on the Hunger Ministry shelving in the Narthex and outside the Activity Center.

Parma Hunger and Our Savior Mayfield

In September, SPL Hunger Warriors will be assisting Parma Hunger and Our Savior Mayfield Heights Food Programs in addition to providing food for Our Family Home Center and Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Hunger Program.

Bach, Bacharach, & Friends Concert

Please recall: On Sunday, September 7, the Bach, Bacharach, & Friends Concert in the Sanctuary will start at 2 p.m. with vocalist Julie Myers-Pruchenski and Matt Ginter on the piano and organ. The Free-will offering gathered will bless Hunger Ministry. St. Paul Lutheran Hunger Warriors are thrilled to be the recipients of this wonderful God-dedicated Performance.

Donate Food

Your prayers along with donations of food items and funds mean so much to SPL Hunger Warriors and spreads the Love of Jesus to so many. Thank you for caring so much. Bless your week as you follow Jesus’ examples of love, Mary & Chico
