Mother’s Day Bake Sale is this Sunday, May 11, in the south end of the Cafeteria from 9-11 am…The funds raised from this Fantastic Bake Sale will be used to support the Hunger Warriors Walk/Run for Hunger Team. Mary & Chico are so grateful for the enthusiastic support of St. Paul members and friends in making this event a success. Simply bring your yummy baked goods to the kitchen or cafeteria marked Bake Sale to donate

Mary and Chico greatly appreciate all your assistance and donations of household items and clothing…At the present time, we could use additional names of strong people with a truck that can assist with picking up and delivering items like a sofa or reclining chair…So if you have a vehicle and want to add your name to call when a unique delivery is needed, please let Mary know. Call 440-871-7067 or email marycaresmuch@yahoo.com. We also need substitute drivers for weekly deliveries.

The 37th Annual Walk For Hunger & 5K Run to help Hunger Network’s 72+ Programs is at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Saturday, May 31. Team Hunger Warriors needs your help by becoming actively involved. Registration is only $20 to be a Walker or a Cheerleader to cheer the Walkers and Runners on, $40 to be a Runner, and the $70 (discounted $10) for a Family of 4 walkers. These fees cover one’s admission to the zoo and a Walk T-shirt. If you have trouble registering on line, simply send a check for the correct amount made out to Hunger Network.

St. Paul Lutheran Hunger Warriors still need Food Donations throughout the summer months; so, let us all try to bring one or two food items when we are able to attend Church this summer: peanut butter, GRAPE JAM, Stew, Corned Beef, WIDE NOODLES, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, canned vegetables, CANNED SLICED PEACHES, CEREAL, oatmeal variety packs, SPAM, canned Chicken Breast, RAMEN NOODLES, snacks for children. We need the above food items by Thursday, June 20, for the Immanuel Hunger Program Delivery. Bless you for putting the needs of others as a priority.
