05-02-25 Update from Mary

Friday, May 2, 2025

Mothers day – May 11th, in the cafeteria 9-11am. Pick up some deliciousness to take to your Mothers Day gathering or treat yourself! Mary and Chico Thank you in advance for baking, attending, & buying at this event.

Chico and Mary were thrilled by all the children and adults who visited their Hunger Warriors Table last Sunday on Volunteer Celebration Sunday. It was so nice to have parents sign up their children for Community Of Goodness – COG Jr. membership to bring in 1 item of food each Sunday that one attends Church to place on the Hunger Shelving…We learned that Sunday School collects food items all year for SPL Hunger Warriors/Hunger Ministry. How wonderful and exciting…

The 37th Annual Walk For Hunger & 5K Run to help Hunger Network’s 72+ Programs is at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Saturday, May 31. Team Hunger Warriors needs your help by becoming actively involved. Registration is only $20 to be a Walker or a Cheerleader to cheer the Walkers and Runners on, $40 to be a Runner, and the $70 (discounted $10) for a Family of 4 walkers. These fees cover one’s admission to the zoo and a Walk T-shirt. If you have trouble registering on line, simply send a check for the correct amount made out to Hunger Network.

Please visit Hunger Network to sign up on Mary’s Team!!
