Welcome all SPL Hunger Warriors!
Welcome all SPL Hunger Warriors to a NEW day in which to serve Jesus & make a positive difference. Life is full of opportunities to serve. Mary and Chico are so grateful for the awe-inspiring support for the January Board of Generosity and Service Thrivent Action Team gathering of Diapers and Detergents for the Cleveland W. 30th Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center. Hunger Warriors have gathered over 2,357 diapers, 48 soap bottles, and 352 soap packets.
Extreme Cold Weather
During these frigid days, Hunger Warriors are so grateful for your continued support. Thank you for all your food donations, monetary support, and time donations along with clothing and household items donations. Our Hunger Warrior Team efforts are inspirational.
Remember to donate!
Remember to keep donating grape jelly, peanut butter, stew, canned vegetables, canned peaches, SPAM, canned chicken breasts, and cereal for the February Immanual Neighborhood Food Program. In February, SPL Hunger Warriors will be funding Parma Lutheran Food Program, Church of the Ascension meal programs, and Our Family Home Food Programs for children and seniors.
38th Annual Walk for Hunger & 5k Run
The 38th Annual Walk For Hunger & 5K Run to benefit Hunger Network and its over 70 hunger programs is on Saturday, May 30, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo sponsored by Mary Cares Much. May the Lord richly Bless and Keep you Safe as you Pray, Praise, and Give Thanks. In His Service, Mary & Chico
