Easter Breakfast
Mark your calendars now. Please join SPL Hunger Warriors for the Jesus Is Risen Easter Breakfast following the 9 am Easter Services on April 20 in the Cafeteria. Invite friends and family to join you for this special time of praising and thanking God for Jesus’ suffering, death, and Resurrection. All are welcome!
You will enjoy an Easter Breakfast of fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, and Breakfast Before egg/sausage specialty served in the cafeteria with Baskets of Easter Blessings on each table. Donations received at the Jesus Is Risen Easter Breakfast will be given to the Redeemer Hunger & Crisis Center in Cleveland.

Call or e-mail (marycaresmuch@yahoo.com) Mary if you are able to help set-up on Good Friday, April 18, at 2 pm in the kitchen/cafeteria or help serve on Easter Sunday morning. In addition, 100 bags of gifts will also be created to pass out to children and seniors upon leaving the Easter Resurrection Joy Church Services.
Hunger Warriors Thrivent Action Team
St. Paul Lutheran Westlake Hunger Warriors Thrivent Action Team members will set-up on Good Friday, April 18, starting at 2 pm in the kitchen/cafeteria and serve the Jesus Is Risen Easter Breakfast on Sunday, April 20, 2025. One may also join the set-up crew at 3 pm if one wants to stay for the entire TRE ORE Service in the Sanctuary.
Bake Sale
A Special 2025 SPL Hunger Warriors Bake Sale will be on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 11, in the cafeteria following the 8:15 am Church Service. We invite you to bake for this event and shop at this event.
Community of Goodness
Thank you for all your donations of time, talents, and treasures! We are so grateful for the amazing food donations that have come in these last two months as a result of the Hunger Advent Calendar and your Community Of Goodness (COG) dedication to share the love of Jesus with others. Donate Food
St. Paul Lutheran Hunger Warriors still need Food Donations throughout the summer months; so, let us all try to bring one or two food items when we are able to attend Church this summer: peanut butter, GRAPE JAM, Stew, Corned Beef, WIDE NOODLES, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, canned vegetables, CANNED SLICED PEACHES, CEREAL, oatmeal variety packs, SPAM, canned Chicken Breast, RAMEN NOODLES, snacks for children. We need the above food items by Thursday, June 20, for the Immanuel Hunger Program Delivery. Bless you for putting the needs of others as a priority.
